PM Kisan: Millions of farmers across the country are eagerly waiting for the 20th installment of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (PM-Kisan). Under this direct benefit transfer scheme of the government, farmers get Rs 6,000 in three equal installments every year. Every four months, an installment of Rs 2,000 is sent to the farmers’ bank account every four months. If you want to meet the 20th installment on time, then complete the EKYC as soon as possible and check your name, account and Aadhaar details. Many times the installment of farmers is stuck due to this, when the name given in the scheme has been found separate from Aadhaar.
When will the 20th installment come?
Although the official date has not been announced so far, according to media reports, Prime Minister Narendra Modi can release this installment in the first week of July. The last i.e. 19th installment came in February 2025, in such a situation, the time of 20th installment has come. It is expected that PM Modi will release it in the first week of July 2025.
Installment may be stuck if the name is not matching the name with Aadhaar
The installment of many farmers stops only because their PM farmers do not match the name, Aadhaar card filled in the form. Many times the name is recorded in the local language or the middle name is missed, which does not match the Aadhaar and stops the installment.
What to do to improve the name?
Online method
Go to the website https://pmkisan.gov.in.
Click on Updation of Self Registered Farmer in Farmer Corner.
Fill the Aadhaar number and captcha.
Fill the Aadhaar card as the name is, fill it and submit it.
Offline method
Go to the nearest CSC Center or Agriculture Department office.
Take Aadhaar card, land paper, bank passbook and PM-Kisan ID with you.
Name, account or other details can be corrected from there.
Why is E-Kyc necessary?
It is mandatory to EKYC according to PM farmer’s website. No farmer can take advantage of installment without EKYC. EKYC can occur in two ways.
OTP based EKYC (Mobile number is required)
EKYC via biometric by visiting CSC Center
How to check your installment status?
Go to https://pmkisan.gov.in.
Click on Know Your Status.
Fill your registration number or Aadhaar number.
You can see the status of your installment on the screen.
Check the name in the beneficiary list
Click on Beneficiary List on the website
Choose state, district, block, village.
Click on Get Report.
The beneficiary list of the entire village will be seen.
Who is eligible for PM-Kisan?
Should be an Indian citizen.
Should own the cultivating land.
Small and marginal farmers are eligible.
If someone has taken Rs 10,000 or more pension or is full of income tax, then he is not eligible.
How to register new?
Go to the website https://pmkisan.gov.in
Click on New Farmer Registration.
Fill the Aadhaar number and captcha.
After filling the remaining information, submit the form and take out the print.
