PM-Kisan 21th Installment Date: The government provides cash assistance to eligible farmers under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana). Its 20th installment was released by PM Narendra Modi on 2 August from Varanasi. This installment was to come in June, but due to some technical reasons it was delayed by about 2 months.

In such a situation, many farmers are confused whether the 21st installment of PM Kisan Yojana will come after 2 months or after four months. Also, will the government increase the money received under the PM Kisan Yojana. Let’s know the answers to these questions.

Will PM farmer’s installment increase?

For some time, there was a discussion that the government can increase the amount of installment under the PM Kisan Yojana. However, Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan clarified in the Lok Sabha that there is no proposal to increase the amount of installment at present. So far, more than Rs 3.9 lakh crore has been given to farmers in 20 installments under this scheme. PM Narendra Modi had transferred a total of ₹ 20,500 crore to 9.7 crore farmers under the 20th installment.

When will the 21st installment come?

The government used to release the installment of PM Kisan Yojana every four months. The 19th installment was released in February. Accordingly, the 20th installment was to come in June. However, this installment was released in August. Now if the 20th installment is counted according to the June timeline, then the 21st installment can be released in October. However, if the 20th installment is counted from the time of its actual release i.e. August, then farmers may have to wait for the 21st installment from November to December 2025.
