PM kisan: The central government may soon release the 20th installment of the Prime Minister’s Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-Kisan) scheme. This installment can be transferred to farmers’ bank accounts by the end of June. However, no official date has been announced by the government yet. Under the scheme, an amount of Rs 2,000 is sent directly to the bank account to the eligible farmers. In a year, farmers get a total of Rs 6,000 in three installments.
These farmers cannot get installments
However, many farmers cannot get the installment of this time as they have not completed the required formalities. The farmers who have not yet done E-KYC (Electronic KYC) can be removed from the list of beneficiaries.
Keep these things in mind
Aadhaar card and bank account should be link with each other. Payment may also fail due to account number, IFSC code or bank account closure. Farmers whose land records are incomplete or unproven may also have to face delay or rejection in payment.
Where to check the status?
The Ministry of Agriculture has urged all the beneficiaries to go to the PM-Kisan portal and check their application status and payment status. In case of problem, farmers should contact the nearest Common Service Center (CSC) or local authorities.
Previous installment information
The 19th installment of the PM-Kisan scheme was released in a public event in Bihar in February 2025. Now more than 9 crore farmers are waiting for the 20th installment.
