PM Awas Yojana: The government is running several schemes for those who do not have their own home. One of these schemes is the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PM Awas Yojana), which is aimed at providing a pucca house to poor and needy families. At the same time, the last chance of survey under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Rural 2.0 has been completed on 15 May 2025. This means that new applications are no longer being taken.

Applications will be verified
After the survey for PM Awas Yojana, now all applications will be verified at the district level. If your documents are found to be correct, your name will be included in the list of beneficiaries. If there is any disturbance in an application, then his name will not come in the list. A list will be made after verification and that list will be sent to the Rural Development Department of the states and then the process of housing construction will be started.

Step 4: Enter your registration number and submit the captcha and submit it.
Whose name will come first?
A priority list will be made for the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Rural (PMAYG), which will be prepared by Gram Panchayat or counseling on the basis of fixed criteria. Scheduled Castes, Tribes and Women will be given priority in this list. The government says that 60 percent of the houses will be given to the SC/ST class. If your name has not come in the beginning list, do not panic. If you fulfill all the conditions of eligibility, your name can be included in the waiting list.
How many days will the house be built
When the Rural Development Department gets the final list, then the process of building the house will start. When you will get a pucca house, it will depend on how many people have applied from your village or district and how much budget has been received by the state government. If the number of applications is more then you may have to wait a little. After getting the budget, targets will be set for every district and after that the work of building houses will start within about three months.
