Hisar/New Delhi: Pakistani journalist and social media influencer Heera Batul has now come up in support of YouTuber Jyoti Malhotra of Hisar in Haryana on charges of espionage for Pakistan. Heera has opposed Jyoti’s arrest, although she did not name YouTuber. He said in a post without naming Jyoti on social media, ‘India has now started targeting its own people. India should stop this unnecessary action.
Jyoti and diamond connection
Jyoti Malhotra, who is known for her YouTube channel ‘Travel with Joe’, met Hira Batul during her visit to Pakistan in 2023. Both shared the post on social media, describing each other as ‘sister’. Jyoti also featured diamonds in some Vlogues, in which she was seen together in places like Attari-Wagha Border and Anarkali Bazaar in Lahore. Investigation by intelligence agencies has revealed that Jyoti’s posts related to Pakistan were made viral by the influencers, including Heera Batul.
Jyoti’s serious allegations of espionage
34 -year -old Jyoti Malhotra was arrested by the Hisar Police last week from New Agrasen Colony. He is accused of sharing sensitive information for Pakistani intelligence agency ISI and promoting anti -India Narrative. Investigation revealed that Jyoti was in contact with Ehsan-ur-Rahim alias Danish, an employee of Pakistan High Commission since 2023, which was expelled from the country on 13 May 2025 from the country on charges of espionage.
A new controversy arose on Heera’s post
This post of Heera has created a new controversy amidst Indo-Pak tension, especially when India is running a campaign to expose Pakistan on the issue of terrorism on the global stage after Operation Sindoor. On the other hand, investigating agencies are expecting more revelations in the case, which can highlight the depth of this detective network. Jyoti has been booked under Section 152 of the Indian Penal Code (BNS) and sections 3, 4 and 5 of the official Secrets Act 1923. Police seized his phone, laptop and other devices and sent it for forensic examination.
