Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif arrived in Tajikistan on Thursday. Here he was welcomed by Tajik Prime Minister Kokhir Rasuljoda at the airport. Sharif will attend an international conference with glaciers today.
On a two -day visit to Tajikistan, Sharif will hold a bilateral meeting with Tajik President Immali Rahmon on several issues.
Sharif is on a tour of four countries from 25 to 30 May. Prior to this, he has gone to Turkas, Iran and Azerbaijan. He has thanked all these countries for supporting India at the time of tension.
Sharif along with Army Chief Asim Munir, Deputy PM Ishaq Dal, External Affairs Minister Khwaja Asif and many ministers have also arrived.
Sharif expresses his desire to talk to India
Shahbaz Sharif said on Wednesday that he was ready to interact with India. He said that the two countries together should solve issues like Kashmir, water and terrorism. Sharif said this at the Pakistan-Turki-Ajarbaijan Tripartial Summit in Lachin, Azerbaijan.
This was the second time in a week when the Pakistani PM expressed his desire to talk to India. Earlier, he also expressed his desire to talk to India on a tour of Iran on Monday.

Sharif said- India attacked before we thought
Sharif said at a program in Azerbaijan on Wednesday that his army was surprised by the Indian attack.
Sharif said that his army was preparing to attack on May 10 after the morning prayers, but India had already attacked several locations in Pakistan, including Rawalpindi Airport, from the BrahMos missile.
Nur Khan Airbase at Rawalpindi was one of the 11 military locations that India targeted. Located C-130 Hercules and Ilushin IL-78 refueller are present in this airbase, located just a short distance from the head office of the Pakistani Army.
Satellite imagery revealed that at least two military planes were damaged. Apart from Noor Khan, India attacked Pakistani military bases in Rafiki, Murid, Rahim Yar Khan, Sukkur and Chunion.
According to media reports, India fired about 15 BrahMos missiles from Sukhoi-30 MKI jet to attack Pakistani Air Force bases, which was also confirmed by satellite images. Read the full news here …

Turkas ready for mediation in India-Pakistan
Turki President Erdogan expressed his desire to mediate between India and Pakistan. He said- We hope that the Indo-Pak ceasefire will turn into permanent peace. The Turkas are willing to make every possible contribution for this.
Erdogan said that the incidents happening in the area show how important solidarity is between our countries. He said- We are happy that the ceasefire ending the increased tension between Pakistan and India.
