Pak vs wi, 2nd test: Pakistan announced its playing XI on Friday for the second and final Test of the series against the West Indies. In the first Test, a change in the team that defeated the West Indies, Kashif Ali has been included in place of Khurram Shahzad. Let me tell you, Shahzad had thrown only one over in the first Test, which Pakistan won by 127 runs.
Kashif Ali has made it to the team on the basis of his consecutive performance in first -class cricket. 30 -year -old Kashif Ali, the only fast bowler involved in the playing XI, will debut for Pakistan. The right -handed fast bowler has taken 101 wickets in 31 first class matches at an average of 28.49.
In the first Test, Sajid Khan, Noman Ali and Abrar Ahmed’s spin trio took all 20 wickets and are going to throw the most overs in the second Test in Multan once again. For the last few matches, Pakistan is preparing spin friendly pitches in its home, due to which the spinners are taking wickets fiercely and playing an important role in winning the Pakistan team. The second Test match to be played in Multan from January 25 is expected to show a similar view.
Pakistan and West Indies have already been out of the WTC final race. This WTC of both teams is the last Test series in the 2023-25 bicycle. After this, Pakistan’s team will play a triangular ODI series in their home and then host the Champions Trophy. The Champions Trophy 2025 will start from February 19.
