Global Travel Tech platform Oyo said on Friday that its business accelerator division has added 3,500 new corporate clients in FY 2025. This is a 20 percent growth on the basis of year-on-year basis. According to PTI news, the increase in the company’s corporate portfolio indicates a re -bounce in commercial travel in India after Kovid. With this growth, Oyo now has a network of more than 6,500 corporate clients.

Mumbai top performing market

According to the news, Mumbai became the top performing market, which added more than 700 new corporate clients last year, followed by 400 new clients in Hyderabad and 350 in Pune. Other major metro cities including Chennai and Bangalore also played an important role in bounce in corporate accounts. Oyo has also recorded a long stay with corporate clients and also in event-based stay.

Fourth largest business travel market

Manish Kashyap, head of Oyo Business Accelerator, said that this growth has been operated not only by big companies but also by small and medium enterprises, traditional business houses, startups, travel management companies and even a diverse mix of filmmaking houses. According to the latest Business Travel Index (BTI) released by the Global Business Travel Association (GBTA), India has emerged as the fourth largest business travel market in the Asia-Pacific region.

This is due to an increase in demand for a strong economy and face-to-face meetings, indicating the revival of business travel in all areas. Additionally, the rapid expansion of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in the country is playing an important role in promoting regional travel demand. Oyo founder Ritesh Aggarwal recently said that the company has been the highest profit -making startup with a net profit of Rs 623 crore in the last financial year.
