
Major arrest in Murshidabad violence.
Police action continues in the case of violence in Murshidabad district of West Bengal. On Monday, the Special Task Force of Bengal Police arrested 8 people from Jharsuguda district of Odisha. According to the information, the arrested people were involved in the violence in Murshidabad. Explain that this violence is related to the ruckus regarding the Waqf Amendment Act. The arrested people include two sons of Ziaul Haq. Ziaul Haq is the main accused in the murder of a man and his son in Zafarabad, Murshidabad.
Riot was working as laborers
According to the information received so far, all these eight accused were working as wages in Banharpali police station area of Odisha. He went to Murshidabad after Eid, where he participated in a violent protest over the Waqf Act. After this, he returned to Jharsuguda and started working as a laborer.
A total of 8 people arrested
According to the information given by the police, West Bengal STF team came to Jharsuguda district of Odisha to investigate the murder of father and son in Samserganj in Murshidabad district. Two persons-Safeul Haq and Bani Israel were detained after raiding various locations with the help of other officials here. A pistol has been found from them.
The police also identified 6 other people from Murshidabad, besides Bani Israel and Safaul Haq, after this raid. After this, the team of Bengal STF and Jharsuguda Police detained these people from Bandhabhal area. These 6 people caught are allegedly involved in the Murshidabad violence incident. His names are Babul, Abdul Khalik, Saba Karim, Ronnie, Manarul Ajful. (Report: Shubham Kumar)
