Veteran tennis player Novak Djokovic has created history. He won the title by defeating the sixth seed Hubert Hurkaj of the tournament 5-7, 7-6 7-6 in the final of the Geneva Open. This is the 100th title in his open Era. At the beginning of this match, Djokovic was behind a set but after that he made a comeback and finally won the title.

Novak Djokovic won the medal even in Paris Olympics

Djokovic won the 99th singles title of a career at the Paris Olympics nine months ago. He then participated in Shanghai Masters and Miami Masters but he has lost in the finals of both the tournaments. Two days after his 38th birthday, he had to work hard to win the hundredth title. Djokovic said after the Geneva Open Jitan that I am happy to win the hundredth title here. I have to work hard for this.

Let us tell you that Open Era started in tennis in 1968. All players (Amateur and Professional) were allowed to participate in the four Grand Slam and for this reason it is called Open Era. Djokovic has become the first player to win the trophy in 20 different seasons with this title. At the same time, it also includes the Olympic Gold Medal.

Suryakumar Yadav shared Insta Story for Djokovic

The records of winning more singles titles than Djokovic, who have won 24 Grand Slams in their careers so far, are named after Jimmy Conor (109) and Roger Federer (103). Now he will try to break the records of these two. When Djokovic won his 100th singles title, India’s star cricketer has set up Instagram Story for him by Suryakumar Yadav. Suryakumar put a picture with the 100th title and wrote- double it.
