Nifty 50 Update: Range of writers on Nifty and Bank Nifty
During today afternoon, maximum call writers were seen active on NIFTY at the levels of 23800, 23900 and 24000. Whereas in Nifty, most put writers were seen active at the levels of 23700, 23600 and 23500. Talking about Bank Nifty, maximum call writers were seen active in Nifty Bank at the levels of 50400, 50500 and 50600. Whereas in NIFTY BANK, most put writers were seen active at the levels of 50000, 49800 and 49600.

Today’s cheapest option: Nifty 50
Describing it as a cheap option for today, Somil Mehta of Mirae Asset Sharekhan said that he has bet on Nifty 50. He said that he advised to buy calls of Nifty 50 with January expiry and strike of 23700. Somil Mehta said that buy around the level of Rs 259. A target of Rs 340 can be seen in this. However, he also advised to put stoploss at the level of Rs 220.
