The US government on Wednesday announced to ban visas of people who censors the posts of American people on the social media platforms of American tech companies. America is the first country to take this decision.
External Affairs Minister Marco Rubia said- If a foreign officer threatened the arrest or other punishment to the American people in their country, it would not be accepted.
He said that visa ban will be imposed on foreign authorities who demands to remove or control content on American tech platforms.
Rubio said- It is not acceptable that foreign officials threaten arrest for their social media posts against American citizens present in American. However, no particular country or officer was named in this statement.
Rubio said that some foreign nationals have taken action against American tech companies and American citizens while holding the official position, while they did not have the right to do so.
Rubio said- Foreign people do not have the right to post sensor of American citizens
Rubio said-New visa ban will apply to foreign nationals who are responsible for sensoring freedom of expression in the US.
He said that if an American citizen posts a post from the US land, no country or its officials have the right to demand that the post is removed, even if they find them objectionable or derogatory.
