NCW has summoned Ranveer Allabia, Time Raina and other companions for lewd remarks. The hearing has been scheduled on 17 February. Maharashtra Cyber Police has registered an FIR against some YouTubers and Social Influencers, who took part in the India’s Got Latent Show. So far, an FIR has been registered against more than 30 people who have participated in this show. Maharashtra Cyber Police has written a letter to YouTube asking to remove all videos.
30 guests sent summons
The cyber department has registered a case under Saman Section 67 to 30 guests under the Cyber Department. The Cyber Department has asked ‘India’s Got Latant’ to remove all the episodes. Apart from this, summons is being sent to about 30 guests from the first episode till now. It also includes the names of Ashish Chachalani and Apoorva Makhija. The utiubers have expressed deep concern over the derogatory and racist comments. The derogatory and inappropriate comments made by content creators, including the show’s producers Tushar Pujari and Saurabh Bothra along with Ranveer Allahbadia, Samay Raina, Apoorva Makhija, Jaspreet Singh and Ashish Chanchalani, have caught the commission’s attention. Now in such a situation, this dispute is getting deeper.
NCW said this
NCW’s letter reads, ‘Especially in a society that gives importance to equality and respect for each other, these comments, who have provoked intense public resentment, violate the dignity and respect that every person is entitled to . ‘ According to the instructions of NCW Chairman Mrs. Vijaya Rahatkar, a hearing has been held to discuss the controversial statement of content providers on India’s Got Latant. The hearing will be held on February 17, 2025 at 12:00 pm at the NCW office in New Delhi.
What is the matter
Ranveer Allabia said an inappropriate thing in the show with social media influencer and YouTuber. His talk was very serious in the joking and after hearing it, Netezens has taken him away. He came on the target of politicians and celebrities. The controversial episode was removed from YouTube on Monday night after much criticism and several complaints. Following the complaint of the case, the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) directed YouTube to remove the video. In view of the ongoing controversy, the makers of the show removed the famous episode.
Ranveer apologizes
After continuous trolling, Ranveer also posted a video apologizing on X, stating that he took a wrong decision to go on the show. Also said that he has made a mistake and comedy is not his forte. At present, Raina and Apoorva Makhija have not responded to the controversy at the time of trapped in the same case.
