Alert after cloudburst in Himachal
Many districts of Himachal Pradesh received heavy rain on Saturday evening. A cloudburst incident also came to light in Rampur in the capital Shimla, which has also caused a lot of damage. A cloudburst in Jagatkhana near Rampur, in which many vehicles are expected to flow. The administration has alerted people living on the banks of the river. Also appealed to be vigilant. At the same time, the local meteorological center has issued a ‘yellow’ alert of thunderstorms with strong winds at a speed of 40 to 50 kilometers per hour in all 12 districts on 27 and 28 May. The Meteorological Department said that an alert has been issued for Sirmaur, Solan, Shimla, Mandi, Kullu, Kangra and Chamba districts on 25 and 26 May.
Red alert in many districts of Kerala
Meanwhile, the monsoon has reached Kerala ahead of time on Saturday. Due to the monsoon, many districts of Kerala recorded heavy rains with strong winds. Due to this, many houses and crops have suffered a lot of damage here. At the same time, power supply was also disrupted in many areas and waterlogging was seen on the roads. According to the Meteorological Department, heavy rains are expected to continue throughout Kerala with the arrival of monsoon. Red and Orange Alerts have been issued in many districts of the state for the next few days. Red alert has been issued in Kannur and Kasargod districts of Kerala and Orange Alerts in the remaining 12 districts of the state. Apart from this, red alert has been issued in five districts for Sunday and orange alert in nine districts. On Monday, red alert was issued in 11 districts of Kerala and an orange alert in the remaining three.
UP will continue the process of rain
At the same time, an alert has been issued in many districts of UP regarding rain. On Sunday, there is a possibility of rain in some places in both eastern and western areas of UP. During this time, thunderstorms of clouds and lightning are also expected to fall. Along with this, wind can also blow at a speed of 30-40 kilometers per hour. Similarly, rain has been expected in different districts of the state from 27 to 30 May. At present, the Meteorological Department has said that the process of rain will continue in the districts of the state.
Delhi-NCR’s temperature dropped
Talking about Delhi-NCR, people have got relief from the heat due to intermittent rains for the past several days. Meanwhile, last night, heavy rains were recorded in the entire Delhi-NCR. During the late night rains, thunderstorms and strong winds also occurred. Due to heavy rains, there has been waterlogging in Delhi-NCR, causing people to face a lot of problems. Delhi-NCR has recorded a drop in temperature due to rain. However, earlier IMD issued a red alert for Delhi and surrounding areas, warning of strong thunderstorms, rain and strong winds.
Alert on heat in Rajasthan
However, in many parts of Rajasthan, there is still a period of scorching heat. The maximum temperature was recorded above 45 degrees Celsius at several places on Saturday. Barmer recorded the highest temperature of 47.6 degrees Celsius. The Meteorological Department has released a ‘red alert’ of temperature and rising in many parts of the state. In Ajmer, Jaipur, Kota divisions, the next 2-3 days, the maximum temperature is predicted to stay 45 to 47 degrees Celsius and heat up. However, due to the activation of eastern winds, some parts of the state are expected to flourish in the evening and winds at a speed of 50-60 kmph in the evening.
