What did Maulana claim?
Maulana Shahabuddin Razvi Barelvi, President of All India Muslim Jamaat, claimed, “Where the preparations for the Kumbh Mela are being made, the 54 bigha land belongs to Waqf. The Muslims showed great heart and did not raise any objection but on the other hand, the Akhara Parishad And other Baba are banning the entry of Muslims. This narrow mindedness has to be given up, we have to show big heart like Muslims.”
What did Sadhvi Ritambhara say?
Responding to the statement of Maulana Shahabuddin Razvi Barelvi, Sadhvi Ritambhara said on Sunday – “Those who divided the country on the basis of religion, are occupying the land of India through the conspiracy of Waqf. This conspiracy should be stopped. Mahakumbh Politics should not be done about this, this is a place to attain religion and virtue.” Ritambhara further said- “All the properties of the Waqf Board should be transferred to the government. Everyone should participate in the Maha Kumbh. After 12 Kumbhs, such a ‘Mahapurna’ Kumbh comes. All the properties of the Waqf Board should be transferred to the government. “
When does Mahakumbh 2025 start?
