A surprising case has come to light from Hosur district of Tamil Nadu. A 14 -year -old minor girl is forcibly married here. When the minor refused to go to her in -laws, the husband lifted her on the shoulder and went away. The surprising video of this incident has also surfaced. After the video went viral, the police have taken action on the case.
Forcibly marrying a minor girl
A 14 -year -old minor girl from Tottamanju hill village, located in the Anchhetti taluk near Hosur, Tamil Nadu, started staying at home after studying till seventh grade. This minor girl was forcibly married to 29 -year -old daily wage laborer Madhesh in Bengaluru, Karnataka. The girl’s mother Nagamma (29) also collaborated in this wedding.
The girl did not want to go to her husband’s house
After marriage, when this girl returned to her ancestral village, Thimmatur, she told her parents and relatives that she did not like this marriage and does not want to go to her husband’s house. Subsequently, Madhesh and his elder brother Mallesh (38) decided to forcibly lift the girl from her relative’s house and take them to their village Kalikuttai. During this time, the girl was crying loudly, but both brothers forcibly picked her up on the shoulder and took her to the village. Some people present there recorded this entire incident in their mobile and uploaded it on social media, which is now going viral.
Police arrested husband and mother
In this case, the female police of Thanknikottai intervened and lodged a complaint with the girl’s grandmother. Police have arrested all three of her husband Madhesh, her brother Mallesh and mother Nagamma – for forcibly marrying a 14 -year -old minor girl.
