In such a situation, passengers traveling will have to take a receipt (TDR) from the ticket checking staff in which it will be written that the passengers with waiting are not traveling.
After this, TDR will have to be filed online for refund. In this, it is important to note that the process of TDR pheeling should be completed within 72 hours of reaching the last station of the train. Along with this, the receipt received in the train will have to be sent by post to the address of IRCTC (Refund) / NCRLE, second floor, ‘E’ block, Chambal campus Subedarganj, Prayagraj).
