seven days of national mourning
The central government has declared seven days of national mourning on the death of former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. Manmohan Singh’s last rites will be performed with full state honours. Sources said that all government programs scheduled for Friday have been cancelled. There will be a meeting of the Union Cabinet on Friday, in which tribute will be paid to the former Prime Minister.
