Defense Minister Rajnath Singh unveiled the statue of the great warrior and King Maharana Pratap of Mewar on Friday in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra. Rajnath Singh said that Maharana Pratap is the great hero of history who sacrificed his all to protect the ‘honor, honor and self -respect’ of his motherland. Rajnath Singh said that this statue installed here is not just a stone or a metal statue. It is an inspiration for all of us and is a memorial of courage, valor, valor and patriotism for the coming generations. In his address, Rajnath Singh also talked about Aurangzeb and said that some people are trying to make Aurangzeb a hero.
Maharana Pratap did not fight for himself- Rajnath Singh
Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar that when someone looks at the freedom and culture of a nation with a bad eye, some great man descended on the earth to overcome this crisis. The whole life of heroes like Maharana Pratap, Chhatrapati Shivaji Ji Maharaj and Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj is the proof of this. Maharana Pratap did not fight for himself. If he wanted, by accepting the suzerainty of Akbar, he could live peacefully. But it was not in his blood to accept subjugation and he challenged the Mughal Sultanate.
Muslims were also Muslim in Maharana Pratap’s army- Rajnath Singh
Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said that where the name of rich people like Bhamashah comes to the struggle with Veer Shiromani Maharana Pratap, the tribal and Girivasi society also left no stone unturned. The descendants of tribal families who support them are found today in Rajasthan, Gujarat, Maharashtra and even in Karnataka and other states. Apart from Rajputs, people of tribal society, farming society and even Muslim society were involved in Maharana Pratap’s army. Who can forget, Hakim Khan Sur’s bravery who achieved heroic pace in the battle of Haldi Valley in 1576.
Trying to make Aurangzeb a hero- Rajnath Singh
Rajnath Singh said that the work of evaluating the contribution of historical men is of historians, which he should have done in the case of Maharana Pratap. But no one can deny that the people of this country have considered Maharana Pratap as their ‘public’. In our history books, a cruel and ruthless ruler like Aurangzeb was also gilorified. Because of this wrong history, some people try to make Aurangzeb a hero. Efforts are being made to create sympathy for Aurangzeb without knowing the truth.
Pandit Nehru also called Aurangzeb staunch- Rajnath Singh
Rajnath Singh said in his address that Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru has called Aurangzeb a staunch and religious ruler. He has written that he imposed a tax on Hindus. Rajput, Sikh, Maratha, Rashtrakuta etc. attempted to suppress everyone. He destroyed many of our Hindu temples. How can such a ruler be the hero of anyone. Such people never talk about Dara Shikoh who translated the Upanishads. Who killed Dara Shikoh? Aurangzeb did it. Aurangzeb had declared Dara Shikoh as heretics. The murder of Dara Shikoh by Aurangzeb was also hatred for Sanatan culture besides power.
Pakistan’s missiles Babur, Ghaznavi’s name- Rajnath Singh
Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said that Babur, Taimur, Aurangzeb, Ghaznavi are praised in Pakistan. This makes sense because Pakistan’s policy is anti -India. The missiles made by Pakistan have been named after the invaders like Babur, Ghaznavi. We understand Pakistan’s opposition to Pakistan, but what is the compulsion of these people? Do they think they will get the support of the Muslim community by supporting Babur, Taimur, Aurangzeb, Ghaznavi? By doing this, they are also insulting the Muslim community of the country.
Maharana and Chhatrapati Shivaji our hero- Rajnath Singh
Rajnath Singh said that we do not do politics of religion. All Indians are equal for us. This is our ritual. This is our idea. We have learned this from our ancestors. Our adorable Chhatrapati is learned from Shivaji Maharaj. Maharana is learned from Pratap. Our ideals were not anti -Islam and Muslims at all. Hakim Khan Suri fought against Maharana Pratap in the battle of Haldighati and against the Mughals. Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s army also had people of Muslim society. Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s bodyguards were the most trusted servant named Madari. Such Maharana Pratap and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj are our heroes.
Rajnath Singh said that Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj considered Maharana Pratap as his ideal. Shivaji Maharaj took inspiration from Maharana Pratap’s guerrilla warfare system. Shivaji Maharaj also asked for his picture from Maharana Pratap’s grandson with great respect. Maharana Pratap was also the hero and source of inspiration in our freedom struggle. Ras Bihari Bose, Netaji Subhash Chandrabos and other young revolutionary always took inspiration from Maharana Pratap’s life.
