Controversy over Mulayam’s statue in Mahakumbh.
Kumbh Mela 2025: The organization of Mahakumbh has started in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. Lakhs of devotees from all over the world including India are continuously taking a dip in Triveni Sangam and offering prayers. However, a political controversy has also come to the fore during the fair. In fact, the statue of Samajwadi Party founder and former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, late Mulayam Singh Yadav has been installed in the Maha Kumbh Mela organized in Prayagraj. Now the Akhara Parishad has condemned the installation of this statue.
What is the whole matter?
In fact, on Sunday, a bronze statue of Mulayam Singh Yadav has been installed in the Mahakumbh Mela area of Prayagraj. This 3 feet statue has been installed in the camp of Mulayam Singh Yadav Smriti Seva Sansthan in Sector-16. SP leader Mata Prasad Pandey said that the devotees coming to the fair will pay tribute to Mulayam Singh Yadav in this camp.
Mulayam was anti-Hindu- Akhara Parishad
Akhil Bharatiya Akhara Parishad has condemned the installation of Mulayam Singh’s statue in Mahakumbh. Akhara Parishad President Ravindra Puri said, “Mulayam Singh’s statue has been installed to show us that he has killed us, left us bleeding. We have no opposition to Mulayam Singh, he has been our Chief Minister. But what message do they (SP) want to give us by installing the statue? Everyone knows what his contribution has been to the Ram temple. He has always been anti-Hindu and anti-Sanatan. At the same time, Mahamandaleshwar Yati Narsimhanand of Juna Akhara has also supported this statement.
Will Akhilesh come to Mahakumbh?
Leader of Opposition in Uttar Pradesh Assembly Mata Prasad Pandey was also asked whether SP chief Akhilesh Yadav will take bath in Mahakumbh? On this, Mata Prasad Pandey said- “I have not talked to him about this. However, I have taken a dip in the Ganga on Saturday.” (input language)
