Everyday, crores of devotees are bathing in the Sangam in the Mahakumbh in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. People from different countries of the world including India are bathing in the Triveni Sangam of Ganga, Yamuna, Saraswati in Mahakumbh. However, on January 29, there was a stampede -like situation in Mahakumbh on the day of Mauni Amavasya, due to which many devotees lost their lives. This incident is being judicial investigation. There is a ruckus by opposition parties in Parliament regarding the accident in Mahakumbh. At the same time, BJP MP Ravi Shankar Prasad in the Lok Sabha has responded to this issue and said that the conspiracy is smelling in the investigation of the Mahakumbh accident.

BJP MP Ravi Shankar Prasad said that 35 million people have taken bath in Mahakumbh so far. The accident that happened is under investigation and the conspiracy is smelling in that investigation. When the whole investigation comes out, then who has done that accident, they will have to bow down in shame. Ravi Shankar Prasad said why the opposition gets trouble after hearing the names of Kumbh and Sanatan. I want to say one thing clearly in the House. India will not bear the insult of Sanatan.

How did the accident happen?

The fair officer and DIG Kumbh Vaibhav Krishna held a press conference on a stampede at Mahakumbh. He had told that 30 people died in the stampede. At the same time, 36 injured were undergoing treatment in the hospital. The DIG reported that some barricades were broken due to the crowd. Some devotees wanted to break the barricades and go ahead, causing a crowd to sleep there.

How many people took a bath so far?

Triveni Sangam has so far taken a bath in the Mahakumbh in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. According to estimates, around 40 crore people were estimated to be involved in Mahakumbh. However, the figure may go much more than this. Mahakumbh started on 13 January. At the same time, it will conclude on 26 February.
