Akasa air The flight fare for Prayagraj has reduced by 30 to 45 percent. Along with this, the airline has also increased the number of flights for this city. Earlier on Wednesday, the Civil Aviation Ministry asked airline companies to increase the number of flights for Prayagraj and maintain proper air fare. Akasa Air said that it has started special flights from Pune, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad and Bangalore to Prayagraj. It is in addition to daily direct services from Mumbai and Delhi.

Tickets cheaper by 45%

A PTI report quoted sources as saying that Akasa Air has cut ticket prices by 30-45 percent for flights to Prayagraj. Earlier, the budget airline IndiGo made the tickets of flights to Prayagraj cheaper. IndiGo has made the flight tickets cheaper by 30 to 50 per cent cheaper on the Prayagraj route.

Airline expressed concern here

Akasa Air has expressed concern about the allocation of bilateral rights to operate flights to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), saying that there is ‘no equal opportunity for it’. The airline said that due to this it is not getting the appropriate opportunity to compete with Air India and IndiGo. Akasa Air’s administrative and strategic acquisition chief Priya Mehra said this month in a letter to Civil Aviation Secretary Vumlunmang Wualanam, “Today, IndiGo and Air India Group have a strong presence in the United Arab Emirates and India and Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah and Ras Al Khemah operates several flights daily. ” He said, “You will agree that it shows that there is no equal opportunity and it presents an important competitive challenge for a new entry -like Akasa Air.
