Adani Group and International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) have joined hands to serve food to devotees at the Maha Kumbh Mela 2025 in Prayagraj. This Mahaprasad service will be provided by both the institutions during the entire period of Mahakumbh Mela from 13 January to 26 February. Last Thursday, Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani met ISKCON Governing Body Commission (GBC) Chairman Guru Prasad Swami to thank ISKCON for the initiative.

Adani said that Kumbh is a holy place of service.

According to the news, speaking about ISKCON’s support in offering Mahaprasad service, Adani said that Kumbh is a holy place of service, where every devotee participates in the name of service to God. It is my good fortune that we are starting ‘Mahaprasad Seva’ for the devotees in Mahakumbh in collaboration with ISKCON. With the blessings of Maa Annapurna, free food will be provided to lakhs of devotees. Today I had the opportunity to meet Guru Prasad Swami Ji of ISKCON and I deeply experienced the power of dedication towards service. In true sense, service is the highest form of patriotism. Service is meditation, service is prayer and service is God.”

A great opportunity for social service

Guru Prasad Swami, one of the leading preachers of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness, said the Adani Group has always been a shining example of corporate responsibility and social service. What makes Gautam Adani ji different is his humility – he never waits to be called but moves forward to serve selflessly. We are extremely grateful for his contribution. His work inspires us to give back to the society and unite in the service of humanity.

Food will be distributed at 40 places in Mahakumbh area

Mahaprasad service will be offered to 50 lakh devotees and the food will be prepared in two kitchens inside and outside the mela area. Mahaprasad will be distributed at 40 locations in the Mahakumbh area and 2,500 volunteers will be involved in the initiative. Golf carts have been arranged for the disabled, elderly and mothers with children. Five lakh copies of Geeta Saar will also be distributed among the devotees.
