Maha Kumbh 2025: Mahakumbh Mela is going to start this month in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. A large number of people not only from the country but also from abroad are preparing to go to this Mahakumbh. Indian Railways is running many special trains in view of Mahakumbh. In this series, Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation i.e. IRCTC has started a special ‘Bharat Gaurav Train’ from Pune to Prayagraj. This special train will run from 15 January to 23 February. This initiative is also linked to the Central Government’s ‘Dekho Apna Desh’ program to promote domestic tourism. In Bharat Gaurav train, passengers get food and accommodation along with travel. If you live in Pune and are preparing to go to Mahakumbh, then you can take advantage of this train.

What is the ticket price?

The economy class (sleeper) ticket of this Bharat Gaurav train going from Pune to Prayagraj is Rs 22,940. Standard class i.e. 3AC ticket is Rs 32,440. Whereas, Comfort Class 2AC ticket is priced at Rs 40,130. There are 14 coaches in this train, which can accommodate 750 passengers. The Pune-Prayagraj Bharat Gaurav train route includes important stations like Pune, Lonavala, Karjat, Panvel, Kalyan, Nashik, Manmad, Chalisgaon, Jalgaon, Bhusaval, Varanasi and Ayodhya.

What facilities will be available?

Passengers booking Bharat Gaurav train tickets from Pune to Prayagraj will also get the facility of staying in Prayagraj. Passengers will be accommodated in the tent city of IRCTC. Mahakumbh Mela is held once every 12 years. The last Mahakumbh took place in the year 2013. This fair will run from 13 January to 26 February. There will be Siddhi Yoga in the Maha Kumbh Mela on 29 January. Sages and saints from all over the world will participate in this fair which is going to be held in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh.
