Lpg price on 1 February 2025: The government of the budget has given some relief to the common people. Oil marketing companies have reduced the price of 19 kg commercial LPG cylinders by up to Rs 7 on 1 February 2025. There has been no change in the price of 14 kg cylinder used in homes. Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) has reduced the price of commercial cylinders for the second consecutive month. Today the budget is coming on Saturday 1 February. On the day of the budget, the government has given good news to the people by reducing the price of gas cylinders.
LLPG gas cylinder prices in big cities of the country?
The new LPG rates have come into effect from February 2025. The price of commercial cylinders in Delhi has come down by Rs 7 to Rs 1797, while in Kolkata it has been Rs 1907, Mumbai Rs 1749.5 and Chennai has been reduced to Rs 1959.5 per cylinder. In Jaipur too, the price of commercial cylinders has been reduced by Rs 6.5, due to which it has now been priced at Rs 1825.
Domestic LPG cylinder prices
The price of domestic 14.2 kg LPG cylinder has not changed since August 2024. In February 2025, domestic cylinder in Delhi is priced at Rs 803, Rs 829 in Kolkata, Rs 802.5 in Mumbai and Rs 818.5 in Chennai.
What are the expectations from budget 2025?
The industry is expecting to reduce duty on petroleum products in the budget to be presented on 1 February. Experts believe that the government may announce any relief related to LPG and other petroleum products. Now everyone’s eyes are on budget 2025 whether the government can increase the subsidy on gas cylinders.
What was the price last time on the budget day
The commercial cylinder in Delhi was priced at Rs 1769.50 on the 2024 budget day, compared to Rs 1769 in 2023. The price of the cylinder was reduced during the budget of 2022, when its price in Delhi was reduced from Rs 1998.50 to Rs 1907.
