Today, on the first day of the new year, the government has given great relief to the common people since early morning. Oil marketing companies have reduced the cylinder prices. LPG cylinder has become cheaper by Rs 14.50 from January 1, 2025. Companies have reduced the rates of 19 kg commercial cylinders. There has been no change in the price of domestic LPG cylinder i.e. 14 kg cylinder. The price of domestic LPG cylinder was last revised on August 1, 2024.

LPG cylinder rate from January 1, 2025

Today is the first day of the year 1 January 2025. LPG cylinder prices are fixed on the first of every month. Oil marketing companies have increased the prices of 19 kg commercial cylinders from today. From January 1, 2025, the price of 19 kg cylinder will be Rs 1804 in Delhi, Rs 1756 in Mumbai, Rs 1966 in Chennai and Rs 1911 in Kolkata.

Earlier this was the price of gas cylinder

On December 1, the price of the same commercial 19 kg LPG cylinder in Kolkata has become Rs 1771, Rs 1927 in Kolkata and Rs 1980.50 per cylinder. Delhi price was Rs 1818.50 per cylinder.

There is no change in the price of 14 kg cylinder

There is no change in the prices of 14.2 kg domestic gas cylinder. This cylinder is available only at the rates of August 2023. Its price in Delhi is ₹803, in Kolkata ₹829, in Mumbai ₹802.50, and in Chennai ₹818.50. Its price in Delhi remains at ₹803 for general customers, while for beneficiaries of Ujjwala scheme its price remains at ₹603. The government had reduced the price of this cylinder by about ₹ 100 in August 2023.
