Just Dial Q3 Results- Local search engine Just Dial Ltd on Friday, January 10 released its results for the third quarter ending December 31, 2024. The company’s net profit increased 42.7% year-on-year to Rs 131.3 crore. In the same quarter of the last financial year, Just Dial had earned a net profit of Rs 92 crore. The company’s revenue from operations rose 8.4% to Rs 287.3 crore from Rs 265 crore in the year-ago period, the company said in a regulatory filing. EBITDA grew 44% to Rs 86.6 crore in the third quarter of this financial year. Which was Rs 60.2 crore in the third quarter of the last financial year. EBITDA margin stood at 30.1% in the quarter under review, while it was 22.7% in the same period of FY 2024.
Just Dial reported 3.4% YoY growth in other income at Rs 77.4 crore. However, it declined by 31.9% quarter-on-quarter due to higher mark-to-market gains on the treasury portfolio in the last quarter.
Profit before tax stood at Rs 149.2 crore. This showed an annual increase of 23.3%. The effective tax rate for the first nine months of fiscal year 2025 stood at 12%.
The company’s cash and investments reached Rs 5,062.7 crore as of December 31, 2024. Whereas it was Rs 4,405.3 crore a year ago and Rs 4,942.8 crore in the last quarter. Total traffic during the quarter stood at 19.12 crore unique visitors. There was an increase of 15.3% on annual basis. But it declined 3.5% quarter-on-quarter due to the impact of the festive season.
The contribution of mobile platform to traffic was 86%. While desktop/PC contributed 11.2% and voice platform contributed 2.8%. Active listings totaled 4.75 crore with a net increase of 12.9 lakh during the quarter. It has seen an increase of 14.2% on annual basis and 2.8% on quarterly basis.
