June auto sales: In June 2025, there has been a mixed trend in the sale of vehicles. The sales of major car making companies like Maruti Suzuki and Hyundai have declined in double digits. While sales of other companies like Mahindra & Mahindra, Toyota and JSW MG Motor have seen an increase. The sale of two -wheelers has also been largely good.
Maruti sales decreased by 6.3 per cent in June. However, its export has seen a jump of 22 percent. On the other hand, Hyundai Motor has sold 6 percent less vehicles than last year. At the same time, the sales figures of Hero Moto have been good. The company’s sales have increased by 10 per cent.

The sales figures of Hero Moto in June have been much better than the estimate. Good demand in rural areas has helped in growth. The company’s total sales have increased by 10 per cent against an estimate of 6 per cent on an annual basis. During this period, the company’s motorcycle sales increased by 8 percent on an annual basis and scooter sales by 37 percent.
Maruti’s sales figures in June have been weakened by estimates. The company’s domestic sales decreased by 12 per cent on an annual basis. However, exports increased by 22 percent.
Sales of both entry level vehicles and utility have decreased. Sales in the Atri segment declined by 18 per cent on an annual basis. At the same time, 9 per cent pressure has been shown on the annual basis on utility vehicle sale.
Hyundai (Hyundai)

Mahindra & Mahindra
According to the company’s CEO Nalinikanth Golagunta, in June, Mahindra & Mahindra recorded an 18 per cent gain in sales of utility vehicles. The company’s sales have increased from 40,022 units to 47,306 units on a quarterly basis, which is the most quarterly growth in SUV sales so far.
Tata motors
Tata motors Has recorded a 15 per cent decline in sales of passenger vehicles including electric vehicles. The company’s sales in June have come to 37,083 units as compared to last year’s 43,524 units. Tata Motors Passenger Vehicle MD Shailesh Chandra Is expected to slow down the growth of the industry. But he believes that the new launch will help the company perform better in the hatchback, SUV and EV segment.
