Mallikarjun Kharge and JP Nadda in Rajya Sabha
New Delhi: The JPC report on the Waqf Amendment Bill was laid on the Table of the House in Rajya Sabha today. As soon as the report was presented in the House, the opposition created a ruckus in the Rajya Sabha. Some members of the opposition also came to the well. Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha Mallikarjun Kharge said that there is a disagreement report of several members in the JPC report on the Waqf Board. Kharge alleged that the suggestions made by the members of the opposition involved in the JPC. He has been removed. Mallikarjun Kharge said in the Rajya Sabha that we will not consider a fake report on the waqf.
Mallikarjun Kharge attacked the government
Mallikarjun Kharge said that it is not right to suppress our thoughts in JPC. It is anti -democracy. I condemn any report presented after removing the disagreement report. We will never accept such fake reports. If there are no ideas of disagreement in the report, it should be sent back and re -introduced.
Sanjay Singh also accused
At the same time, JPC member and Aam Aadmi Party MP Sanjay Singh said in Rajya Sabha that the opposition’s views have been removed on the Waqf Board. He claimed that the government had thrown the suggestion of the opposition into the garbage.
JP Nadda hit back at Khage
Responding to the allegations of the opposition, the Union Minister and Leader of the House in the Rajya Sabha JP Nadda said that the suggestions of the opposition have not been deleted in the JPC. The objective of the opposition was not to discuss in the House but to increase the number for its vote bank. Nadda alleged that the opposition is doing politics of appeasement.
Kiren Rijiju claims opposition
At the same time, Union Minister Kiren Rijiju in the Rajya Sabha said that I have investigated the concerns raised by the opposition. No talk has been removed from the report. On what basis can such an issue be raised? Members of the opposition are creating an unnecessary issue, which does not have facts. The allegations are false. JPC took complete action as per the rules. All opposition members of JPC participated in all proceedings in the last 6 months. All disagreements in the appendix of the report are attached. The opposition cannot mislead the House. Kiren Rijiju said that no decent note has been removed from the JPC report on the Waqf Bill.
