Food delivery platform Eternal (formerly Jomato) has appointed Aditya Mangla as CEO of his food ordering and delivery business and senior management personal (SMP). The company gave this information in the notification given to the stock exchanges on Sunday. Mangla was appointed on 6 July 2025 after the approval of the Board of Directors of the company. His term will be of two years.
Rakesh Ranjan’s term ended
Mangla will replace Rakesh Ranjan, who has completed his two -year term as CEO of Food delivery business. Eternon said that Ranjan will not be in the role of Senior Management Personal from 6 July 2025. The first information about Ranjan’s post was given by Moneycontrol in April 2025.
What did Deepinder Goyal say?
In an email sent to the employees, the founder of Eternational Deepinder Goyal said, ‘This is not just a change of roles. This is a sign of the leadership we need in the next stage. Leadership does not just know what to do, but to understand why things happen- that too when they do not see. ‘
Goyal further wrote, ‘We need leaders who listen not to answer, but to understand. Aditya is among them. He often disagrees with me, and I appreciate it. We need more people who do not just say ‘yes’.
Promotion from internal leadership
Aditya Mangla is currently responsibility for the head of product in Eternational Food delivery business. After joining Eatran in March 2021, he has held several important responsibilities like Supply Head and Customer Experience Head. According to the company, they have paid special attention to optimizing the restaurant partner network and improving customer satisfaction on digital touchpoints.
Extensive experience in tech industry
Prior to Eternal, Mangla has served in different startups and senior positions related to profit and loss, product and marketing in tech-based companies.
Mangla has performed the Post Graduate Program (PGP) at the Management from the Indian School of Business, where he was awarded the Torchbear Award. He has obtained a Masters degree in Information Networking from Carnegie Melon University and Engineering Degree in IT from Netaji Subhash Institute of Technology.
