Jio plan: Jio has launched two new prepaid recharge plans for its customers. These plans are made for those who use only calls and SMS and who do not need data. These plans have been launched following the instructions of Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) seeking all telecom companies to give cheap calls and SMS recharge.
First Plan – Rs 458
In this plan, customers get 84 days validity. In this, unlimited voice calling and 1000 free SMS are being given. Along with this, users will also get free access of video apps like JioCinema and Jio TV. This plan will be very useful for those who prefer to call and send SMS and do not require data. Apart from this, this plan also includes free national roaming facility on any network of India. One day spending of this plan comes to Rs 5.
Second Plan – Rs 1958
This plan comes with one year i.e. the validity of 365 days. It also has unlimited voice calling facilities, as well as 3600 free SMS. In this plan too, users have been given free facility of JioCinema and Jio TV. For those who do not want to recharge again and again, this plan will be very beneficial. In this, the tension of calling and messaging for the whole year ends. The cost of one day of this plan is Rs 5 and one month cost is Rs 155.
Old plans closed
Along with these new plans, Jio has stopped its two old Rs 479 and Rs 1899 plans. The Rs 479 plan used to give 6GB of data with a validity of 84 days, while the Rs 1899 plan used to offer 24GB data for 336 days.
Whose plan will work
These new voice-only plans of Jio are made for those who use mobiles only to talk and send SMS. This will enable them to get better facilities at a lower price and will also get relief from frequent recharge mess. These plans can prove beneficial for senior citizens, basic users and feature phones.
