Airtel has given a big blow to its millions of users. According to the report, the country’s second largest telecom company has stopped its affordable recharge plan. This recharge plan of the company is no longer present on platforms like PhonePe, Paytm. Instead, users are being asked to choose an expensive plan of 20 rupees. This recharge plan of Airtel was the most affordable plan with a 28 -day validity.
Closed Rs 199 plan?
According to the NBT report, Airtel has removed this affordable prepaid recharge plan of Rs 199 from UPI platforms like Phone Pay, Paytm i.e. users will not be able to get this recharge of Airtel here now. In this plan of Airtel, users get the benefit of unlimited calling and free national roaming on any number in India for 28 days. Also, the company also offers 2GB data to users in this plan.
PhonePe, Paytm users are now getting the cheapest recharge of Airtel for Rs 219. In this plan also, 28 days validity is offered to users. In this too, users get the benefit of unlimited calling and free national roaming across India. This plan comes with 3GB of data benefits.
Airtel is available on thanks
However, the company’s website and Airtel Thanks app still have a Rs 199 plan plan. Also, the company has also listed a plan of Rs 219 for users. Apart from this, users can also choose a voice only plan for Rs 469. This prepaid plan of Airtel is for 2G feature phone users. It offers 84 days validity. In this, users are offered only calling facilities. Following the order of TRAI, Airtel launched this voice only plan at the beginning of the year.
