America President Donald Trump on Thursday claimed that India had offered to remove all fees on American goods. The President of the US said this at a business event held in Doha. However, there has been no confirmation of Trump’s claim from India. Trump also told in this event that he has forbidden Apple CEO Tim Cook to manufacture iPhone in India. Trump said that India can take care of itself and India is doing very well.
Decision will be taken only after everything is fixed

No decision will be taken until everything is fixed. Any business deal should be mutually beneficial and it should benefit both countries. Tim Cook gave a big statement on iPhone’s manufacturing
Trump’s comment on the manufacturing of the iPhone came about two weeks after Tim Cook’s statement, in which the CEO of Apple said that his company had recorded record revenue in many countries including India. Cook had said earlier this month that Apple would come from India to most iPhones sold in the US in the June quarter, while China will have the highest share in iPhone supply for other markets amid uncertainty at tax rate.
Apple sold 7.59 million iPhones in America in America in 2024
According to analysis by rating agency S&P Global, Apple’s iPhone sales in the US in 2024 were 7.59 crore units while exports from India to 31 lakh units in March. Let us tell you that Trump had announced to impose high import duty on several countries including India and China on 2 April. After this, Trump had banned these high fee rates for 90 days on 9 April. However, high fees on China and Hong Kong continued. Now there has been an agreement in the US and China to reduce these fees.
