The film is being directed by Tushar Jalota and under the banner of Madock Films. It revolves around the love story between a North Indian man (Siddharth Malhotra) and a South Indian woman (Jahnavi Kapoor). This love story established between Kerala’s magnificent backwater is a rollercaster of comedy, action and suspense that can make you happy. Talking to Variety about the film, Dinesh Vijan said, ‘It is like films that Mani-Sar [मणिरत्नम] Used to do like Sathiya. It is interesting to have the kind of music in it and Jahnavi to play the South Indian character. Sid’s role as a boy from North Delhi and struggle is very good. This is probably like taking such a complication in your words forward. It has a hi -tech idea. But we are going into a kind of Kantara world, we are going a little further than that.
