CA may be needed in such situations

There are many taxpayers who have income from assets abroad. Some taxpayers have income from investing in shares of unlisted companies as dividends. The process of filing returns is a bit difficult for such taxpayers.

1. First you have to log in to the tax-filing portal (Incometax.gov.in) of the Income Tax Department.

4. If your source of income is just salary, then you can use ITR Form 1.
5. The information you will find in the form will have to check once.
6. You have to upload your digital form 16.
7. Finally you have to e-verify the retrimation. For this you can use Aadhaar. An OTP will come on your phone. After putting it, your return will be verified.
