‘It pains my heart’, PM Modi reached Christmas function, expressed grief over violence in society

There is enthusiasm about the festival of Christmas all over the world including India. On Monday, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi also attended the Christmas celebrations organized by the Catholic Bishops Conference of India (CBCI) in the capital Delhi. While addressing the program, PM Modi appealed to the people of India to strengthen the spirit of brotherhood. While addressing the program, PM Modi said that when there are attempts to spread violence and create disruption in the society, it pains his heart.

Have a role to play for India’s future- PM Modi

Addressing the Christmas celebrations, Prime Minister Modi said that everyone has an important role to play in the future of India. He has appealed to the people to come together to fight the challenges. PM Modi said- “The teachings of Lord Jesus Christ celebrate love, harmony and brotherhood. It is important that we all work to strengthen this spirit.”

Responsibility to give a bright India

PM Modi said in his address that he is confident that with everyone’s collective efforts we will take our India forward. PM Modi said that developing India is everyone’s goal and we have to achieve it together. PM Modi said- “It is our responsibility towards the coming generations to give them a bright India.”

Priority is given to human interest along with national interest – PM Modi

PM Modi said in the program that if the children of India are in any crisis anywhere in the world, today’s India saves them and brings them back. India considers it its duty. PM Modi said that India gives priority to human interest along with national interest in matters of foreign policy. The whole world has seen and felt its example during the Corona crisis.

What is CBCI organization?

The PMO has informed that this is the first time that an Indian Prime Minister has participated in such a program at the headquarters of the Catholic Church. Let us tell you that the Catholic Bishops Conference of India was established in the year 1944. It works closely with all Catholics in different parts of the country. (input language)
