Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has nominated US President Donald Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize. Netanyahu informed Trump about this at the White House on Tuesday.
Netanyahu said- I want to show you the letter that I have sent to the Nobel Prize Committee. In this, you have been nominated for the peace prize, which you are fully entitled and you should get.
Netanyahu says that he has taken this decision in view of the efforts being made by Trump for peace in the Middle East.
However, Trump has already said, ‘I will stop any war, I will not get Nobel. I should have received the Nobel Peace Prize 4-5 times. But they will not give me these awards because they only give it to Liberals
Pakistan has also nominated Trump for Nobel
Prior to Israel, the Government of Pakistan has also nominated Trump for the 2026 Nobel Peace Prize. Pakistan says that Trump’s diplomatic initiative and mediation during the Indo-Pakistan war helped avoid a major war.
The Pakistani government said in its official statement that Trump spoke to both New Delhi and Islamabad and played an important role in the ceasefire. This averted the possibility of war between two nuclear power countries.
