Israel has launched a major attack on Iran’s nuclear and other military bases on Friday morning. It has killed 2 big military officers and 2 nuclear scientists from Iran.
A senior Iranian officer told the New York Times that a place called Shahrak Shahid Mahalati was attacked in the capital Tehran. High ranked Iranian military officers live here. 3 buildings have been destroyed in the attack.
An Israeli military officer claimed that Iran was secretly manufacturing nuclear weapons and has 15 nuclear bombable materials in a few days. This attack was carried out to stop it.
The Israeli Sena said it was a ‘pre-mestic strike’. That is, Israel attacked the danger, so that Iran could not take any major action. The Israeli army also said that there can be many more such attacks.

America said- we are not involved in the attack
The US made it clear that it was not involved in the attack. US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said that Israel carried out the attack as self -defense and warned Iran not to target American soldiers or bases in any case.
The attack took place at a time when talks were going on between the US and Iran on the nuclear deal. US President Trump tried to stop Israel from attack as he feared that the conversation could stop.
Amidst this tension, the US called its diplomats back from Iraq. The US also allowed the families of its soldiers present in the Middle Eastum to return. Currently around 40,000 American soldiers are deployed in the Persian Gulf and surrounding areas.
IAEA passed a resolution against Iran
Earlier, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) passed an important resolution against Iran on Thursday. The agency had said that Iran is not following the rules set regarding its nuclear program.
According to IAEA, Iran has such a large amount of uranium that it can make 10 atomic bombs in less than a year. The agency alleged that Iran is constantly refusing to give information about nuclear activities in several places and is not cooperating in the investigation.
This happened for the first time in the last 20 years when this United Nations monitoring organization has taken such strict action about Iran.

Out of 35 IAA boards, 19 countries voted in a resolution against Iran. It included America, Britain, France and Germany. At the same time, Russia and China voted against it and the rest of the countries either did not participate or stayed away from voting.
Iran strongly criticized the decision and said that it is completely political. The Iranian Ministry of External Affairs and the country’s nuclear agency said in a joint statement that such decisions raise questions on the credibility of the international agency.
However, Iran has been repeatedly saying that her nuclear program is only peaceful and for civil use, such as making electricity or preparing medicine, not to make weapons.
