Rajasthan Royals lost by 2 runs in the match against Lucknow Super Giants in the 36th match of Indian Premier League 2025. After this defeat, Rajasthan Royals are facing allegations of match fixing. Jaideep Bihani, convenor of the Ed-Hawk Committee of Rajasthan Cricket Association, has accused RR of ‘match fixing’.

Rajasthan franchise told all allegations baseless

The reaction has now come from Rajasthan Royals on this whole matter. The RR franchise has said that all the statements of Jaideep Bihani are baseless and false, hence the franchise has written a letter to the Sports Council President Neeraj’s Pawan, Chief Minister and Sports Minister. It has been written in the letter that in future, necessary action should be taken to stop RCA Consumer Jaideep Bihani’s statement.

Jaideep Bihani had made serious allegations

Let us tell you that in an interview with a media channel, Bihani said that RR wanted only 9 runs in the last over on his home ground, he still lost. It is beyond comprehension and something is wrong. Bihani referred to the history of Rajasthan Royals. He reminded that in 2013 some players of the team were caught in the case of spot -fixing. Apart from this, the franchise owner Raj Kundra was accused of betting. Due to this, Rajasthan Royals were banned for 2016 and 2017 seasons.

Bihani has demanded an inquiry into the defeat against LSG. He has raised the demand from the Board of Control for Cricket in India and other investigating agencies to investigate the matter deeply. He says that such a defeat not only harms the reputation of the team, but losing the match in this way also breaks the morale of the young players badly.

Rajasthan got defeat in the last over

In fact, in the match against Lucknow Super Giants, Rajasthan Royals needed 9 runs to win in the last over. Avesh Khan was bowling for LSG. Dhruv Jurael and Shimran Hetmyer were present at the crease from RR. Avesh gave just 6 runs while bowling brilliantly in the last over and Lucknow’s team won that match by 2 runs.
