Infosys Lays Off: Legendary IT company Infosys fired hundreds of people, told this reason

Country The veteran IT company Infosys has expelled more than 300 new people from the job. They were hired as freshers. According to sources, these employees took initial training in the company’s Mysuru campus. But even after three efforts, they could not pass the internal test. However, the IT Employees Union NITES said that the number of new employees affected by the move is very high. The union has filed an official complaint to the Ministry of Labor and Employment and threatened to demand immediate intervention and strict action against the company.

In response to the e-mail sent in this regard, the IT service company with Bangalore headquarters said, “Our appointment process in Infosys is very strict, in which all new employees are successful in internal test after taking extensive basic training in our Mysuru campus. Expected. ” The company said that all new employees get three opportunities to succeed in evaluation, in which they will not be able to remain in the institute if they fail. The company said that this garden is also mentioned in their contract.

Infosys said, “This process has existed for more than two decades and ensures the availability of high quality talent for our customers.” Sources associated with the developments said that the number of new people affected is more than 300. Meanwhile, the NAST Information Technology Employees Senate (NITES) claimed that the number was very high and the affected new employees were included in the company in October 2024 a few months ago. It said, “These employees had to endure a long wait of two years after receiving their ‘offer letter’, and it was possible to join them only after the continuous efforts of NITES and affected candidates.”

The NITES alleged that the employees were called to the meeting room of the Massuru campus and they were asked to sign on the ‘Mutual Separason’ letter. However, this claim could not be confirmed independently. NITES said, “Given the seriousness of the situation, NITES is filing an official complaint before the Ministry of Labor and Employment, seeking immediate intervention and strict action against Infosys.”
