India is preparing to launch the largest quantum computer soon. This quantum computer will be launched under the National Quantum Mission. This computer will be able to solve complex national and international challenges. This quantum computer will be prepared by IBM and TCS i.e. Tata Consultancy Services. The Telecom Department i.e. DOT has given information from its official social media handle regarding the launch of India’s largest quantum computer.
Largest quantum computer
While sharing a picture in its post, Dot India said that India’s largest quantum computer is coming soon. For where it will be setup, DOT has asked users to guess. Let us tell you that under the National Quantum Mission, this quantum computer will be setup in Quantum Valley Tech Park in Amravati, the capital of Andhra Pradesh. The special feature of this quantum computer is that it will have a 156 cubit IBM Heron processor, which has the ability to perform millions of tasks rapidly.
IBM and TCS ready
Recently, IBM and TCS have officially announced this. The hardware of this quantum computer will be prepared by IBM. At the same time, TCS has got the responsibility of designing its software. The Tata Consultancy Services Company will develop algorithms and applications of this quantum computer, which will contribute significantly to solve the largest challenge of the Indian industry and academia.
Nation quantum mission
The National Quantum Mission Scheme of the Government of India has been brought keeping in mind the future technology changes. Quantum computing is being seen as Next Generation Technology. Many sectors will benefit after the creation of the largest quantum computer in India. Also, India can equal the developed countries in technological advocates being done in the world.
Talking about the capabilities of this quantum computer of IBM, it will be equipped with QISKIT software and other resorts. Its quantum will work to attract high and jobs and global investment in the ecosystem industry.
