The delegates were told to highlight the 40 -year history of Pakistan’s terrorism in front of the world community, including Pakistan’s inaction on evidence such as DNA evidence and call records given by India after the 2008 Mumbai attacks.

Congress objected to names

The Congress has objected to the selection of the delegation. Party general secretary Jairam Ramesh said that the Congress had suggested four names- Anand Sharma, Gaurav Gogoi, Syed Naseer Hussain and Raja Brar, but only Anand Sharma was included. Even on the inclusion of Shashi Tharoor, the Congress said that this is his personal decision and not the official opinion of the party.

Pakistan’s counter -strategy

Pakistan has also decided to send a delegation under the leadership of People’s Party leader Bilawal Bhutto to respond to India’s move, which will keep its ‘peace talk’ on the world stage. However, after Operation Sindoor, this global campaign of India reflects its strong policy against terrorism. 7 All -party delegations will not only expose Pakistan’s terrorist network by going to 33 countries, but will also call the global community to unite against terrorism.
