Indian women’s team in Kho-Kho World Cup
Kho-Kho World Cup: Indian women’s team won the title by defeating Nepal team 78-40 in the final of Kho-Kho World Cup 2025. Kho-Kho World Cup was organized for the first time and India won this title for the first time. In the final, Indian players showed an amazing game and defeated Nepal in a powerful manner. Indian women players started dominating the match from the very first turn.
Indian women’s team took a big lead in the beginning itself
The Indian women’s team attacked in the first turn and Nepal’s defenders had no resistance, then India took an early lead of 34-0 and from here the match came under their control. The Indian team led by Priyanka Ingle did not give any chance to Nepal. In the second turn, when it was the Nepal team’s turn to attack, it could not gain the lead. Just managed to reduce the gap. After the second turn the score was 35-24.
India scored 38 more points in turn three. Nepal had no answer to their huge lead of 49 points. It seemed as if the Nepal team had surrendered in front of the Indian players. After this, when the Nepal team attacked in the last turn, they could score only 16 points and in the end the Indian team defeated Nepal with a big score of 78-40.
Indian women’s team remained unbeaten in the entire tournament
Indian women’s team and Nepal women’s team had not lost a single match till the final. In its first match itself, the Indian team had registered a victory of 157 points against South Korea and defeated them 175-18. After this, the Indian women’s team also presented a strong example of play against Iran and won the match 100-16. India had defeated Malaysia 100-20 in its last match. The Indian women’s team won the semi-final match 66-16. Now after winning the final, the Indian women’s team has remained unbeaten in the entire tournament.
