Indian T20 Team For England Series: The Indian team has to play a series of five T20 matches against England and now BCCI has announced the Indian T20 team for this. Suryakumar Yadav has got the responsibility of captaincy. The responsibility of vice-captain has been handed over to Akshar Patel. Young and experienced players have got a chance in the Indian team for the T20 series against England.
Mohammed Shami is back
Mohammed Shami has been consistently performing well in domestic cricket and has fully recovered from his injury. For this reason, he has been called back to the T20 team, because the selectors want to see his fitness before the Champions Trophy. He played the last T20 International match for the Indian team in the year 2022 against England. He has so far played 23 T20I matches for India, in which he has taken 24 wickets.
There are two wicketkeepers in the team
Varun Chakraborty, Ravi Bishnoi, Washington Sundar and Axar Patel have got the responsibility of spin department in the squad. There are two wicketkeepers in the squad in the form of Sanju Samson and Dhruv Jurel. Axar Patel has got the responsibility of vice-captain for the T20 series against England.
Nitish Reddy got a chance
Nitish Kumar Reddy, who performed well in the Test series against Australia, has also got a place. Whereas Harshit Rana and Arshdeep Singh have got a chance. Tilak Verma, Hardik Pandya and Rinku Singh are also present in the squad to strengthen the middle order.
