Who is Nimisha Priya?
Nimisha Priya is a resident of Kerala, India. She has been working in Sana’a, Yemen since 2011. Nimisha was convicted of the murder of Yemeni national Talal Abdo Mahdi in July 2017. In 2018, Nimisha was sentenced to death. He has fought against his conviction for years. Nimisha’s family has made considerable legal and diplomatic efforts for her release. According to the information, Yemen’s President Rashad Al-Alimi has approved the death sentence for nurse Nimisha Priya. Nimisha is reportedly going to be hanged within a month.
