Because of this, they have been brought back to their country. Many of the people from America are from Gujarat. These people reached Ahmedabad Airport from Amritsar on Thursday morning. The US Air Force aircraft reached India on Wednesday. Meanwhile, a person returning from America has claimed that these people were wearing handcuffs and fetters on the plane.

Jaspal Singh, one of the 104 exemption brought from the US aircraft on Wednesday, claimed that he was tied to the handcuffs and legs during the entire visit and he was removed only after landing at the Amritsar airport. 36 -year -old Singh, a resident of Hardorwal village in Gurdaspur district, said that he was caught by the US border patrol after crossing the US border on January 24.

American aircraft reached Amritsar on Wednesday

An American military aircraft reached India on Wednesday with 104 illegal migrants from various states. This is the first batch of Indians sent by the Donald Trump government as part of action against illegal migrants. Sources said that 33-33 are from Haryana and Gujarat, 30 from Punjab, three from Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh and two from Chandigarh. He reported that the exiles include 19 women and 13 minors, including a four -year -old boy and two girls aged five and seven.

Travel agent cheated

The exiles of Punjab were taken from Amritsar Airport to their original places in police vehicles. After reaching his hometown on Wednesday night, Jaspal said that a travel agent cheated him, as he was promised that he would be sent to America in a legal manner. Jaspal said, “I told the agent to send me with the appropriate visa (for the US). But he cheated me.” He told that the deal was done for 30 lakh rupees. Jaspal claimed that he had reached Brazil by airplane in July last year. He said that it was promised that the next visit to America would also be by airplane. However, his agent “cheat” him, which forced him to cross the border illegally.

11 days returned after being in custody

After six months in Brazil, he crossed the border and moved to America, but the US border patrol arrested him. Jaspal said that he was kept in custody for 11 days and then sent back home. Jaspal said that he did not know that he was being sent to India. He claimed, “We thought we were being taken to another camp. Then a police officer told us that it was being taken to India. We were handcuffed and fetters were put in the legs. They were opened at Amritsar Airport. ” Jaspal said that he was broken by exile. “Large amount was spent. Money was borrowed.” On Wednesday night, two other exiled people, who reached their hometown in Hoshiarpur, also told them about the difficulties faced while reaching America.

Reached America after spending 42 lakhs

Harvinder Singh, a resident of Tahli village in Hoshiarpur, said that he had left for the US in August last year. He was taken to Qatar, Brazil, Peru, Columbia, Panama, Nicaragua and then Mexico. He said that he was taken from Mexico to America along with others. “We crossed the hills. A boat, which was carrying them with other individuals, drowned in the sea,” he told reporters. Singh said that he saw a person dying in the Panama forest and drowning one in the sea. Singh said that his travel agent had promised that he would be taken to Europe and then Mexico first. He said that he spent 42 lakh rupees for his visit to America.

Reached America after crossing 17-18 hills

Harvinder said, “Sometimes we used to get rice. Sometimes we did not get anything to eat. We used to get biscuits.” Another person exempted from Punjab told about the ‘Dunki Route’ used to go to America. He said, “We stolen clothes worth Rs 30,000-35,000 on the way.” The exiled person reported that he was first taken to Italy and then Latin America. He said that he had to travel 15 hours long by boat and had to walk 40-45 km. He said, “We crossed 17-18 hills. If anyone slipped, there is no possibility of it survival. We have seen a lot. If someone was injured, he was left to die. We saw the corpses. ”
