Indian bank Has reduced its special and regular FD interest. Indian Bank has changed the interest rates of 444 days IND Secure and regular fixed deposit (FD) scheme. These new rates are in force since 9 June 2025. Investment in IND Secure Scheme can be made by 30 September 2025. Apart from this, the bank has not made any changes in the interest of 555 days FD Ind Green.
444 days IND Secure FD Scheme
Start: Launched on 8 May 2025
Minimum investment: Rs 1,000
Maximum investment: less than Rs 3 crore
Interest rate
Common customers will get annual – 6.90% interest
Senior Citizens will get 7.40% annual interest.
Super senior citizens will get 7.65% annual interest.
Earlier I was getting this interest: 7.15% for common customers, 7.65% for senior citizens and 7.90% for super senior citizens will get interest.
This time, returns have been improved for senior and super senior citizens, especially for senior and super senior citizens, so that they can get more benefit on their savings.
Ind Green – 555 days FD – The rates of this FD have not been changed.

Maximum investment: less than Rs 3 crore

6.80% for common customers
7.30% to Senior Citizen
7.55% to super senior citizens
There has been no change in this FD scheme and it is available at earlier rates.

What changed and why?
Rate cuts on Ind Secure: Earlier it was 7.15% for common customers, which is now 6.90%. Senior and super senior citizens have given some relief and balanced two for common customers. No change on Ind Green: In this scheme, rates have been kept stable.
Who should invest in 444 days FD
If you are thinking of investing for a long period, you can invest in Ind Secure (444 days) scheme as it gives slightly better returns than regular FD. The new FD rates of the Indian Bank have started from 9 June 2025. There are various options available in Ind Secure and IND Green.

91–120 days: 3.50%
121–180 days: 3.85%
181 days – 9 months: 4.50%
9–12 months: 4.75%
1–2 years (Excluding 444/555 days): 6.60%
5 years and above: 6.00%
