The debris of China’s PL-15E missile, killed by India’s air defense system.
The Indian Air Force (IAF) destroyed Pakistan’s PL-15E missile with its air defense system during Operation Sindoor. The missile was built in China.
According to media reports, Five Eyes countries (America, Britain, Australia, Canada, New Zealand), besides France and Japan want to check the debris of this missile to find out which technology China has used to make it.
On May 9, PL-15E missile pieces were recovered from a farm in Hoshiarpur district of Punjab. After this, on May 12, the Air Force showed its debris for the first time in the press conference.

Pl-15E missile was used for the first time
According to an Indian Air Force official, Pakistan fired a PL-15E missile in China by JF-17 fighter aircraft. But she was made useless in the air, so that she could not reach her target. According to reports, for the first time a PL-15E missile has been used in a conflict.
The PL-15E has been challenging China’s government media such as Global Times and China’s defense analysts due to the advanced technology and long range of the missile.
According to reports, the pieces that India have received, if they are right, can get very important information from them. As-
- How the missile radar works (through radar signature),
- How is his motor made (through motor structure),
- Technology (through guidance system) showing the way to the missile),
- Many important things can also be known about the AESA radar (ie active electronically scandated aray).
Taking interest in debris from America to Japan
Five Eyes Country: These five countries (America, Britain, Australia, Canada, New Zealand) share intelligence information. They want to understand China’s advanced missile technique by examining the debris of PL-15E.
France: The PL-15E missile is believed to be a match with the Metur missile used in Rafael Jet, France. France wants to understand the radar signature, motor structure, and guidance technology of this missile.
Japan: Japan wants to upgrade its missile defense system due to China’s increasing aggression in the Indo-Pacific region.
All these countries want to understand the PL-15E missile radar, motor, guidance system, and active electronically scanned arrays (AESA) radar techniques through reverse engineering.

Missile was fired from Pakistan’s JF-17
IAF Air Marshal AK Bhatti said on May 12 that ‘Pakistan used this Chinese missile in an attack against India’.
The missile was fired from Pakistani JF-17 fighter jet. It was destroyed by India’s S-400 and indigenous sky arrow air defense system.
Air Marshal AK Bhatti then said that our indigenous Akash missile and S-400 system showed that India is capable of responding to any aerial threat.

The JF-17 Thunder Fourth is a multi-rall advanced air craft of the fourth generation. It is favorable to work in every season with extremely low weight. It is a multi-rol fighter aircraft that attacks air from air and air to surface.
Other missiles in China’s PL-15E match
Meture (France): Metor uses a solid-fuel Ramjet engine, which gives it a 4 MAC (about 4800 km) speed. The range of Meture is more than 200 kilometers. This missile is equipped with active radar Sikar technology. However, the Long Range of Pl-15E and AESA technique makes it more dangerous than the mature.

India’s Rafale fighter jet has a mature missile.
Aim-260 jatm (America): In response to PL-15E, the US is developing AIM-260. According to media reports, the missile will be able to hit target till the range of 200 km. Along with this, its speed will be up to 5 Mac (6000 km). However, no official details have been given yet.
Pl-17 (China): This is the Next Generation Missile. According to media reports, this missile will have active electronical scandal array (AESA) radar Sikar. It will have AI-based navigation system and capacity to hit target up to 400 km range. This missile will be able to hit target at a speed of 6 Mac (7200 km).
Astra MK-2 (India): This Beyond Visual Range (BVR) is the air-to-air missile. Its range is 150–160 km. The missile has dual-pulses solid rocket motor. Along with this, there are features like Advance AESA radar Sikar and two-way data links.

The weapon MK-2 missile can hit the target at a speed of 4.5 Mac (about 5500 thousand km). The missile will be used this year or by 2026.
Air strike on pak 15 days after Pahalgam attack
On April 22, terrorists killed 26 tourists in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. Men were shot in the head and chest in front of women and children. Prime Minister Modi was in Saudi Arabia during the incident. They left the tour in the middle and returned to the country and called a cabinet meeting.
15 days after the Pahalgam incident, the army made air strikes at 9 places in Pakistan and POK at 1.5 minutes on the night of 7 May. In 25 minutes, 9 terrorists were destroyed and more than 100 terrorists were killed.
