Should it be mandatory for all the players of Team India to play in domestic cricket? India TV ran a poll regarding this, in which 2835 fans voted. During this time, 94 percent of the fans believe that yes, all the players of the Indian team should play in domestic cricket. Whereas 5 percent fans have voted no. Apart from this, there was also one percent of fans who did not think it right to say anything in this matter.

Senior players will play in domestic cricket
After BCCI’s strict stance, senior players like Rohit Sharma, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Rishabh Pant and Virat Kohli will play in domestic cricket. All of them have confirmed their availability for their respective state teams for the upcoming Ranji Trophy matches. Rohit and Jaiswal will play for Mumbai. Whereas Pant and Kohli will be seen playing for Delhi in Ranji Trophy.
Kohli last played in Ranji Trophy in 2012
Virat Kohli last played a Ranji Trophy match for Delhi in 2012 against Uttar Pradesh. Indian captain Rohit Sharma last played for Mumbai in the Ranji Trophy in 2015 against Uttar Pradesh. Now both these greats will play in domestic cricket again after a long time.
