India-pak war: After the ongoing tension between India and Pakistan and drone-micile attacks, many states of the country have intensified security measures as a precaution. Vigilance has been increased across the country since the attacks of Pakistan from across the border. Schools have been closed in some cities of Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana. What is closed and what is open-which states will be open in which states?
The state government has ordered the closure of all schools, colleges and universities for three days. Policemen’s holidays have been canceled in Pathankot, Ferozepur, Fazilka, Amritsar, Gurdaspur and Tarn Taran, near the border.
The holidays of all government employees have been canceled. Security exercises have been started in many places. Airport operation is normal in the capital, but security has been increased.
3. Rajasthan
Schools are closed in five districts of western Rajasthan. Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma has directed to cancel the holidays of government employees with immediate effect.
Schools are closed in Panchkula district. The holidays of the health department and police officers have also been canceled.
5. West Bengal
Private schools in Kolkata and other parts have announced a summer holiday since 9 May. Banks are closed in the state today due to Rabindranath Tagore Jayanti.
6. Jammu and Kashmir
State Education Minister Sakina Itu said that all schools, colleges and universities will remain closed on Friday and Saturday.
7. Indian Aviation Ministry
24 airports in India have been temporarily closed. There is an operation at Delhi Airport, although some flights have been affected due to airspace change and security reasons.
8. Banking Service – Will banks open in all states?
Apart from the fixed routine of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), there is no special announcement about the shutdown of banks today. Today, banks will be open in all other states of the country besides West Bengal.

According to the Ministry of Defense, India responded with the same level and intensity as Pakistan did.
